The purpose of Trek is to help young men and young women draw closer to their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and choose to follow Him. We will develop unity, resilience, and a better understanding of the sacrifices made by our ancestors as we walk together.

Graduating Seniors 18 and older who would like to attend may talk to their bishops.
Over the coming months, we ask you to strengthen yourself spiritually as you prepare for trek. Your positive attitude and willingness to serve will make all the difference. We encourage you to prepare spiritually for trek through prayer and scripture study and to learn more about your ancestors, whether they were pioneers who crossed the plains or not.
Trek will be physically demanding as we hike for a few miles each day over a variety of terrains. Set aside time to exercise between May and July, including hiking in the mountains. We can assure you that trek is one of those events that you will get out of it what you put into it!
Check out the packing list and begin gathering items you will need. You may already have what you need or be able to borrow them from family members. Trek pioneer clothing does not need to be complicated. You can usually find what you need at DI, for example. You will need good sturdy shoes or hiking boots, so make sure you get them early and hike in them well before we leave for trek.
